dreamlife.....
i rewrote the lyrics in the verse to this song by edie bo.it was a regional hit in 1972 in the new orleans area.my lyrics highlight the present day situation of water shortages on the planet mostly due to climate change and the challenge a lot of countries are facing to provide clean drinking water to their citizens.
“Head in the Clouds” has a drifting, jazzy R&B-soul groove, where smoky chords and subtle rhythms create a backdrop that feels weightless. The laidback, raw vocals carry the track with honesty, not polished to perfection, but deeply human, and feel like a confession sung in dim light. The lyrics show us a vivid picture of living in two worlds at once, the tangible present and the wandering inner space of imagination, memory, and sound. Lines such as “Sometimes I talk to myself right out loud / Sometimes my head’s in the clouds and I can’t come down” highlight that tension between vulnerability and escape. The imagery of colors, vibrations, and rhythm brings a poetic, almost synesthetic quality, where music becomes both a compass and a refuge. It's contemplative yet freeing.Oghamyst Music
Cerulean Blue is an enchanting fusion of Folk/Acoustic warmth, R&B/Soul groove, and a dash of Rock/Punk edge—creating a sound that feels both heartfelt and rebellious in the best way. The atmosphere you’ve built truly captures that “dreamland” you describe, where reality and the subconscious weave into vivid new vistas. 🎶 It’s immersive, emotional, and full of character.

a funky, rockin',get up off the couch and move your rumpa, track for ya'….
“Good Time” doesn’t just talk the talk, it walks the funk-filled, soul-soaked walk. This is a celebration in song, packed with joy, groove, and spiritual fire -pure uplift. Centered around liberation, celebration, and divine release, it takes a universal message, letting go of burdens and embracing joy, and sets it to an irresistible groove. It’s both a party and a revival, blurring the line between the dancefloor and the sanctuary. The vocals are smooth and soulful, confidently riding the groove with just the right mix of flair and restraint. There’s a call-and-response energy that feels communal, especially as the chorus builds into near-gospel territory. The blend of sax, trumpet, and groovy bass gives it a retro heartbeat, while the modern mix keeps it fresh. Loved it! I will share it on my socials and playlist ASAP!oghamyst music
